The “True Stories” section is one of the most inspiring components of the EqualiSM-SES project. It focuses on real experiences of women who have built careers in sport management, leadership, and athletic environments.

Despite increasing participation in sport, women continue to face barriers when it comes to leadership and decision-making roles. These stories aim to make those challenges visible—while also highlighting success, resilience, and transformation.

Through authentic narratives, the project gives a voice to women who have navigated these challenges and achieved meaningful impact in their fields. They serve not only as professionals, but also as role models for future generations.
